Growth & Groups

We offer several different opportunities for adults to fellowship and grow together.  Below are some of the regular groups/events that we have available:

  • Christian Women's Fellowship

The ladies of Cross Lane meet on the first Tuesday of each month for fellowship and service.  The Christian Women's Fellowship serves Cross Lane by helping with our missionaries, special community outreach projects and the Christmas Craft Workshop.  All ladies of the church are invited to attend this monthly event.

  • Every Man Up

Every Man Up is a men's ministry that meets on the third Thursday of each month at 6:00 p.m.  The purpose of this ministry is to serve our community through work/service projects with focus on single mothers and widows.

  • Rooted

A young adult (18-24) ministry that meets on a weekly basis during the school year that includes fellowship, study and of course, food!  For the 2017-2018 school year, the group will meet on Sunday afternoons at 3:00 p.m.  Contact Ryan Pursch for details.

  • Short Term Mission Trips

Each year, Cross Lane takes at least one mission trip.  We have been to Arizona, Illinois, Kentucky, New York, West Virginia, Ohio, Honduras, Haiti, Thailand and Zimbabwe.  Watch for details on where we will be heading to next.

  • Softball

Cross Lane loves to play softball.  We have a competitive team for the men and a recreational team that is co-ed.  Sign-up sheets for softball can be found at our Welcome Center just prior to the softball season each spring.

  • Third Thursdays for Women

The Third Thursdays ministry is a women's group that meets on the third Thursday of each month.  During their meeting time, they plan activities that allow them to fellowship with one another.

  • Power Room Prayer Ministry

The Power Room is occupied during our morning worship services by someone committed to praying for our church, her leaders, pastors and elders, the ministries of the church and the surrounding churches.  Prayer is also offered for our country and her leaders.
