At Cross Lane, we have classes and opportunities for everyone to take a next step toward Jesus. Whether you have been following Jesus your whole life or you're just getting started, there is a way you can grow closer to God, build relationships with one another and reach those who are far from Jesus.

Life Groups

13 weeks

People involved in life groups at Cross Lane have committed to meet regularly for prayer, study, accountability and fellowship. They come together to ask and answer tough questions as they grow together.  There is community in our life groups.  New groups begin each spring and fall.

BRETT'S WEEKLY EMAIL UPDATE

We communicate regularly with our congregation via an email distribution list.  This keeps our regular attendees informed of weekly announcements, prayer needs, special events and other pertinent information.

Growth & Groups

We offer several different opportunities for adults to fellowship and grow together.  Below are some of the regular groups/events that we have available:

  • Christian Women's Fellowship

    The ladies of Cross Lane meet throughout the year for fellowship and service.  The Christian Women's Fellowship serves Cross Lane by helping with our missionaries, special community outreach projects and the Christmas Craft Workshop.  All ladies of the church are invited to attend these events.  Contact Cheryl Cuthbertson to be added to the email distribution list.

  • Every Man Up

    The purpose of this ministry is for men to grow together through fellowship, study and serving our community through work/service projects with focus on single mothers and widows.  Contact Tracy Sutliff to be added to the email distribution list.

  • Rooted

    A young adult (18-24) ministry that meets occasionally throughout the school year to fellowship, study and of course, eat food!  For meeting information, contact Andrew Kelley.

  • Short Term Mission Trips

    Each year, Cross Lane takes at least one mission trip.  We have been to Arizona, Illinois, Kentucky, New York, West Virginia, Ohio, Honduras, Haiti, Thailand, Zimbabwe, Northern Ireland, Belize, Romania and Israel.  Watch for details on where we will be heading to next.

  • Third Thursdays for Women

    The Third Thursdays ministry is a women's group that meets on the third Thursday of each month.  During their meeting time, they plan activities that allow them to fellowship with one another.
