Brett Wilson

Lead Pastor

Brett is a 1986 graduate of Johnson University, and has served Cross Lane as pastor since 1992. Teaching, counseling, leadership and encouragement are his primary focuses at Cross Lane.  Brett has three grown children, Bennett, Tanner and Delaney.  In his free time, Brett and his wife Dee Dee enjoy camping, reading, movies, music and the companionship of their little buddy, Piper the Italian Greyhound.

Andrew Kelley

Associate Pastor

Andrew serves as the Associate Pastor at Cross Lane Community Church, where he helps lead the church toward spiritual growth, connection, and mission. With a passion for teaching, developing leaders, and creating systems, he works closely with both the staff and congregation to help people take their next steps in faith.

Before stepping into this role, Andrew spent several years in student ministry and continues to bring a relational, gospel-centered approach to every area of leadership. He loves helping people see the beauty of Scripture, the importance of community, and the everyday impact of living out their faith. Outside of ministry, Andrew enjoys spending time with his wife, Leah, and their four kids. He finds joy in encouraging others, building healthy teams, and creating spaces where people feel known, valued, and challenged to grow.

Tracy Sutliff

Executive Pastor

Tracy is a 1990 graduate of Indiana State University and received his Master of Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University in 1996.  Tracy and his wife Julie have been members at Cross Lane since 1995 and joined staff full-time in March 2008.  Tracy is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Cross Lane, missions/outreach, volunteers and the assimilation process.  In their free time, Tracy, Julie and their children Jaden, Justin and Jeremiah enjoy camping, spending time with family and outdoor activities.

Ryan Pursch

Discipleship Pastor

Ryan and his wife Lori have been members at Cross Lane since 1997 and joined staff full-time in December 2005.  Ryan served as our Student Pastor from 2005-2023 and is now serving as our Discipleship Pastor. Ryan and Lori have two adult children, Abbigail and Noah.  Ryan and Lori enjoy gardening, playing sports and family outings together.

Shelby Sonntag

Creative Arts Pastor

Shelby graduated from Lincoln Christian University in 2016  with a BA in Worship Ministry and earned an MA in Formative Worship from Lincoln Christian Seminary in 2018.  Shelby joined the Cross Lane team in February 2018 as the Creative Arts Pastor.  Shelby married her husband James in December 2021. Shelby loves good coffee, her cats Bonnie and Willow, creative design, reading and making music.

Sarah Osborn

Children's Director

Sarah is an Indiana State University graduate with over 10 years of experience in education. She’s passionate about creating a fun, safe and faith-filled environment where kids can learn about Jesus and grow in their relationship with Him. She’s been married to her amazing husband, Jeff, since 2006, and together they have two awesome kids, Max and Frankie, who keep life fun and full of energy. Outside of ministry, she's an ultra trail runner who loves long adventures on the trails and a devoted dog lover who rarely passes up time outdoors with her pups. Whether she’s planning lessons, running races, or hanging with her family, she believes in living life with purpose, endurance, and joy—and loves bringing that energy into everything she does.

Cheryl Cuthbertson

Secretary

Cheryl is our Financial Secretary.  Cheryl and her husband Troy have been members of Cross Lane since 1988. Cheryl started working full-time for Cross Lane in January 2008.  Cheryl and Troy have three grown children, Tony, Stacey and Kelly.  They also share their home with their dogs Willow and Izzy.
